Sven Ortega-Bieri is a partner at the Swiss Property Owners Association and plays a key role in shaping our financing division with extensive expertise in real estate and many years of experience in banking. Sven began his professional career in 2008 with an apprenticeship as a certified banking specialist at a regional bank in Interlaken. After completing his vocational baccalaureate and gaining initial experience in client advisory, he moved to UBS in Bern, where he worked across various areas and built up valuable expertise as well as a strong professional network.
Through his advanced training as a certified banking economist HF, he further deepened his knowledge in wealth management, mortgages, real estate, and taxation, laying the foundation for even more comprehensive client advice. During this time, his passion for real estate continued to grow, ultimately leading him to join the Swiss Property Owners Association in 2020.
Sven lives in Thun with his family and values the wide range of opportunities the region offers. In his free time, he most enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and exploring nature.
