After studying Business Administration, he completed a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance at the University of St. Gallen. An exchange semester in Singapore broadened his international perspective early on. His professional career initially led him into the financial industry, including positions in Private Banking and Global Markets, where he gained in-depth insights into financial markets and investment decisions.
He then deliberately moved into professional sports: in the Austrian Bundesliga he served as Sporting Director, where he was responsible for the strategic and sporting development of a football club. Working in a highly dynamic environment shaped his perspective on strategy, leadership and sustainable development.
Alexander Schneider was born in Germany and has lived in Switzerland for many years. In his free time he remains closely connected to sport – particularly football and various ball sports. From time to time he also accompanies his wife to the stables and enjoys the change of pace this brings to his everyday professional life.
